Through a series of clearly illustrated lectures and a short field trip, this workshop is designed to enhance your ability to see the world photographically.  By learning to overcome some of the barriers to seeing, and then implementing easy to understand design and compositional rules, you will immediately begin to produce some extraordinary results.  Topics covered will include:

- Understanding barriers to seeing.
- How the camera "sees" vs. how we see.
- Elements of design and photographic composition.
- How to identify obstacles that prevent you from taking great pictures.
- How to recognize photographic possibilities.
- Specific camera techniques that dramatically improve your photographs.
- How to use line, texture, and perspective to compose images for remarkable results.

"This workshop gave my imagination a voice to re-discover my environment, with a sense of awe, inspiration and delight.  What we saw in the viewfinder was given a new definition and framework; the digital frame became our canvas and we had fun creating."  J.I., North York, Ontario
